I am a Mixed Media artist based in San Francisco, California. I began my creative journey as a student at the Art students league of New York City. I have a background in fashion where I have explored ancient costume, regional folk wear, HAUTE COUTURE, AND READY-TO-WEAR. IN MY Current work I USE HAND SEWING TO CREATE MOVEMENT THROUGH PATTERNS AND REPETITION. MY PAINTINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS involve abstractions of images revealed in my surrounding environment. They are centered on a landscape of the illusion of individual space. The use of vibrant colors captures the essence of what is contained.
